Hello, my name is Josiah Jost but my nickname has been Siah (sigh-ah) for as long as I can remember. I’m located in southern Alberta, Canada and freelance under my business Siah Design. I specialize in logo design and have won various awards for his work as well as been published in multiple design books (LogoLounge, Logo Design Love, iHeartLogos, Los Logos, etc). I absolutely love what I do and am grateful I can work in this field. I serve clientelle locally, nationally and internationally.
One of the most important things in my life though is my relationship with Jesus Christ. Apart from Him I am nothing.
The Logo
The Siah Design logo shows a hand with index finger showing direction with the bottom part of the hand being the pencil – in doing so, the mark also forms a monogram “S” for Siah. The icon suggests giving direction to creativity. The significance of the finger pointing up for myself though is that it is pointing up to God giving Him any credit for his design work.
Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.”
