Logo of the Month #8 Lochness
Designer: Navy Blue Design Group (David Needham)
I’m a huge fan of subtle, simplicity in a logo. The Loch Ness Partnership logo is absolutely brilliant. The “loc” forms Nessie peeking out of the water. Kudos to the Navy Blue Design Group for coming with with such an incredible typographic solution!

You have a great way to visually convey messages.
it’s one of those designs where you say, “well duh, I would have thought of that” and yet you know deep inside that it’s brilliant.

I completely agree, the logo is subtle but that only adds to the impressive typography. I looked at the logo at first and just saw the water effect but then after reading your comments I saw Nessie and was amazed.
